Dear Parents & Caregivers,
Congratulations to our Year 3 students who went on their first overnight excursion last week to Kianniny cabins near Merimbula. They had a fantastic time. Miss Rees and Mr. Thackray have spoken highly of their behaviour. Well done boys and girls!
Special thanks to the teachers and parents who looked after the students on this excursion. I hope you managed to catch up on some sleep over the weekend!
Our school’s annual Presentation Night will be held at the Narooma High School hall next Monday at 7.00 pm. All families are invited. This is a special night when we recognise the outstanding achievements of our students. Our senior choir and the dance group will also be performing.
There will be a P. & C. meeting tomorrow evening at 7.00 pm in the school staff room. Please come along for a good night of discussion with other parents who care about our school.
Enrolments for 2010 Kindergarten are now being taken. Please contact the school if you have not already done so if you have a child entering Kindergarten next year.
Thank you for supporting our school where we are proud of our past and prepared for the future.
Marilyn Gibson
Principal

Canteen
Please remind your children to bring their lunch orders to the canteen FIRST thing in the morning. There have been a lot of late orders and these children have been missing out on their preferences.
It would be great if you could put your name down on the canteen roster for one day this term. Your child will love having you serve them and their friends and you'll have a fun day too. Please come and see me or give me a call on 44762556 to organise a day that suits you.
Thanks to Kate, Trevor and Maria for helping out last week.
Thanks,
Kylie.

CHALLENGED BY YOUR CHILD’S ASTHMA?
Parenting Children with Asthma
Researchers from the University of Queensland are investigating the challenges faced by parents of children with asthma. This project involves a survey examining the factors that parents believe make management of childhood asthma more difficult.
What does participation involve?
Parents of children with asthma, aged 3 - 12 years, can participate by completing a set of online questionnaires about their family, their child, and their child’s asthma. These questionnaires will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
You can complete the survey at:
http://exp.psy.uq.edu.au/asthmaparents
For more information, contact Caroline Gregory on 0733659186 or email caroline.gregory@ugconnect.edu.au
Your participation will be greatly appreciated.
